Official Description
The International Council of Knights Templar (Concilium Internationale Militum Templi) is an international Christian charitable and humanitarian order established to promote Christian service, charitable works, community resilience, chaplaincy, humanitarian assistance, heritage preservation and fellowship among Christians throughout the world.
Inspired by the virtues and traditions associated with the historic Knights Templar, the Council seeks to demonstrate faith through service, integrity through leadership and charity through action.
The Council is a civilian Christian institution and maintains no military, governmental or sovereign authority. Its legitimacy derives from its Christian mission, public benefit, humanitarian service and adherence to the highest standards of governance and stewardship.

Founding Declaration
We, the Founders of the International Council of Knights Templar (Concilium Internationale Militum Templi), mindful of our Christian duty to serve God and our fellow man, do hereby establish this Council as an international fellowship dedicated to faith, charity, stewardship, honour and service.
We affirm that the Council exists not for privilege, power or prestige, but for Christian witness, humanitarian service, relief of suffering, preservation of Christian heritage and the advancement of the common good.
